Mitch Oswald leads the pack after the first day of the Pepsi Amateur.

The Aurora native fired a 4-under par 68 as he is the overall leader of the championship flight Saturday at Riverside Golf Course.

Oswald has the lead over Glenn Bills and Zach Rouzee, who are both three strokes behind with a 71.

Oswald is going for his second win in Grand Island in less than two weeks after claiming the KRGI Mayor’s Cup at Jackrabbit Run Golf Course.

Jim Camplin is fourth with a 76, while Alex Kubik shot a 77. Jack Goering came in with a 78, while Noah Vahle fired an 80.
