OMAHA — Home Federal split two games Sunday at the Westside Tournament.

Home Federal scored eight runs in the fourth inning and defeated Millard South 15-5. Noah Halsey had four hits to go along with two runs and an RBI. Rans Sanders had two hits, two RBIs and scored a run.

Matt Jurgensmier had two hits with two RBIs and a run while Brenden Mendez had two hits with two runs and an RBI. Jack Friesen added two hits, two runs and an RBI.

Ace McKinnis pitched 4.1 innings with five strikeouts to get the win.

Home Federal dropped an 18-2 five-inning decision to Roof Tech Wildcats. Roof Tech’s 12 runs in the third inning broke the game open.

Blake Leiting had two hits for Home Federal.

Five Points wins

KEARNEY — Five Points defeated Sioux Falls 11-3 in six innings Sunday in the Kearney Tournament.

Tycen Nelson was 4-for-4, Brady Baasch 3-for-3 and Sam Hartman 2-for-5 for Five Points in the win. Tyler Fay pitched 4.2 innings to get the win.
