Virginia Lee Mottin, 83, of Grand Island died May 28, 2019, at Tiffany Square in Grand Island.
There will be a private family burial at Highland Cemetery at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Grand Island Humane Society or TCCC Children’s Playground.
She was born on Dec. 8, 1935, in Pierce to Ollie and Elsie Fultz. She grew up in Pierce and Bassett and received her education at Rock County High School.
She was united in marriage to Clyde Mottin Jr. on July 1, 1955, in Grand Island. The couple then made Grand Island their home.
She was a member of the Worldwide Church. She enjoyed bingo, gardening, reading, volunteering at the Ravenna Historical Society, spending time with her family, two dogs and with friends. She also loved animals and children.
She is survived by her sons, Ken (Patty) Mottin of St. Libory, and Dick (Kay) Mottin of Fort Collins, Colo; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; a brother; and her husband, Clyde Jr.
