FORT WORTH, Texas — Rose M. White, 67. of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 26, 2019.
A memorial will be at a later date in Grand Island, where she will be laid to rest with Merritt.
Rose was born on May 3, 1952, to Joe and Nancy Ciemnoczolowski in Grand Island.
She graduated from Wood River High School, Central Community College and later from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She fell in love with dental assisting and worked as an assistant for a private practice at the Dental College in Lincoln before moving to North Platte and teaching Dental Assisting for 30 years at Mid Plains Community College. She remained active in the community until the birth of her Grandkids. She than relocated to Alliance, and recently to Fort Worth, Texas, to be with them.`
Rose married Merritt A. White in Wood River on Feb. 8, 1975. They were deeply devoted to each other for 33 years. Rose was a loving mom and “Amma.” She loved to be outdoors making magic with her flowers or out and about shopping. There was never a dull moment, never. She loved to watch the birds, “Judge Judy” and recently “Snake City” with the Grandkids. Rose loved to send joy to her friends and family through snail mail.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Alicia and Chase Templeton; son, Eric White; grandchildren, The Apple of her eye, Andrew, Twinkle Toes, Gwen, and Smile Man, Ty.
She was greeted by her husband; special friends, Jack and Jane Campbell; her father; and numerous other family and friends.
