Larry was born March 25, 1944, in Bremerton, Wash., to Herman and Frances (Thury) Kinkade. Larry was the third-oldest of seven children. The family moved to Kearney when Larry was 11 years old. He graduated from Kearney High School in 1962. He then met and married the love of his life, Linda Lizer, in 1965. They had two sons: Larry Joe and Michael.
Larry provided for his family as a self-employed welder. In his free time, he loved to fish, hunt, and beat everyone at pool. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids. He was an amazing dad, papa, and honorary papa to so many in his life.
Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Larry Joe and Mike; grandchildren, MaKenna (Corey) McCullock, Trystan (Clay) Kinkade and Trevor Kinkade; great-grandchildren, Barrett and Dawson McCullock and Slayten Vanover; sisters, Kathy (Tom) Reilly, Terri Blattner, Franci Kinkade and Dottie (Dan) Kinkade; along with many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; his parents; a brother, Kenny; a sister, Elizabeth; and his beloved dog, Katy.
