CASSVILLE, Mo. — Eileen Schultz, 83, of Cassville, Mo., died Thursday, June 6, 2019, after a long illness.
Inurnment service of cremated remains will be held later in Hamilton County.
Eileen was born to Arthur E. and Ruby N. (West) Bish on her parents’ farm south of Giltner on Nov. 25, 1935. She grew to adulthood on her parents’ farm and graduated from Giltner High School in 1953.
Eileen married Arthur D. Schultz on May 8, 1954. For 14 years, Art and Eileen remained in Giltner, where they had two sons and a daughter. In 1969, they moved their family to Missouri. The highlight of Eileen’s career was working at Wal-Mart Home Office in Bentonville, Ark., where she was befriended by Sam Walton.
After retirement, Art and Eileen spent several years RV-ing before settling in Sun City West, Ariz., and finally Cassville, Mo.
Eileen is survived by her husband, Arthur Schultz of Cassville, Mo.; son, Stanley Schultz of Washburn, Mo.; daughter, Gloria Hogue of Daytona Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Travis Hogue (Brittany) and Corey Hogue of Florida; and one great-grandchild, William Hogue. Eileen’s other surviving family includes three brothers, Harvy Bish (Jo) of Aurora, Roger Bish (Deb) of Grand Island, and Don Bish (Leola) of Gilther, and a sister, Shirley McVicker (Rich) of Sun City, Ariz.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Russell Schultz, who passed away on Sept. 20, 2001, in Texas; and a brother, Marvin “Dean” Bish, who passed away April 2, 2019, in Sun City West, Ariz.
