— Glen Griess, 52, Columbus, attempt of a Class 4 felony, 90 days in jail with credit for 53 days served.

— Trevor Wright, 25, Neligh, third-degree assault, 90 days in jail with credit for three days served, 12 months probation, $300 probation fee.

— Alesia Potts, 25, Fairfield, was charged with first-offense DUI-alcohol, theft by receiving stolen property worth $501 to $1,499, possession of a controlled substance and possession of 1 oz. or less of marijuana, first offense, all on Saturday. Preliminary hearing set for 3 p.m. July 16.

— Ben J. Abbott, 43, Grand Island, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession or use of drug paraphernalia, both on Saturday. Preliminary hearing set for 2:30 p.m. July 16.

— Michael D. Walker, 35, Grand Island, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, third-offense DUI alcohol, first-offense possession of 1 oz. or less of marijuana, possession or use of drug paraphernalia, no operator’s license and failure to use seatbelt, all on Monday. Preliminary hearing set for 3:30 p.m. July 16.

— Galo Bascope, 52, Grand Island, was charged with attempt of a Class 2 felony, use of a firearm to commit a felony, false reporting (misdemeanor) and tampering with a witness, informant or juror, all on Sunday. Preliminary hearing set for 9 a.m. July 16.

— Wendy X. Castaneda, 29, Grand Island, was charged with possession or use of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and possession of 1 oz. or less of marijuana, first offense, all on Saturday. Preliminary hearing set for 2 p.m. July 16.

Driving under the influence: Glenda Garcia, 28, Grand Island, DUI-alcohol, first offense, $500 fine, 13 days in jail with credit for 13 days, driver’s license revoked six months.
