Anyone with information about any crime in the state may call the Grand Island-Hall County Crime Stoppers, (308) 381-8822. Callers will remain anonymous.

A reward of up to $1,000 will be paid after law enforcement agencies have determined the seriousness of the crime and the usefulness of the information.

Grand Island Police

The following felonies were reported:

— On Tuesday at 3510 DeAnn Road, Mario Partida was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Adriana Ramirez was arrested for three Hamiliton County warrants. Police say she was also in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

— Corey Oberhauser reported that his vehicle with the keys inside was stolen from the street next to 2606 W. 13th St. Monday or Tuesday.

— Roger Decker reported that items were stolen from his unlocked garage Monday or Tuesday at 2124 Grand Island Ave. The items were left in a refrigerator.

— A very poor counterfeit $20 bill was recovered from Five Points Bank South. The bill was in a deposit from Burger King, 2280 N. Webb Road,

— An adult male, contacted about another case of counterfeit currency, said he thought the money was real and therefore came to his bank to deposit it. He’d received the bill from another male a couple of days earlier.

Hall County Sheriff

— Alexander Echols of Davenport, Iowa, reported criminal mischief Tuesday at 7501 Nine Bridges Road in Doniphan.

— Robert Rogers of Mount Vernon, Ky., reported theft at 7838 S. Highway 281 on Tuesday morning.

— April Hurrey of Ogallala reported theft Tuesday night at 11775 S. Highway 11 in Wood River.

Hall County District Court

— James A. Armentrout, 51, Grand Island, attempt of a Class 2 felony, 10 to 12 years in jail with credit for 310 days served, must register as a sex offender.

— Jacob Alexander David, 27, Grand Island, enhanced DUI or refusal to be tested (with three prior convictions), 60 months probation, 120 days in jail with credit for 96 days served, license revoked 15 years. Also guilty of driving during revocation — DUI/refusal to test, first offense, 30 days in jail, 60 months probation, license revoked 15 years.

Hall County Court

— Joshua D. Lanpher, 40, Indianapolis, attempt of a Class 4 felony, $1,000 fine.

— Palga P. Palga, 21, Omaha, was charged with theft by unlawful taking totaling $0 to $500, third or subsequent offense, and obstructing a peace officer, both on July 10, 2018. Arraignment set for 1:30 p.m. July 10.

— Trai Thornton, 20, Grand Island, was charged with possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person, possession of an imitation controlled substance, first offense, and failure to display proper number of plates, all on Tuesday. Preliminary hearing set for 9:30 a.m. Aug. 21.

— Shawn Ostrander, 24, Grand Island, was charged with committing burglary and unauthorized use of financial transaction devices totaling more than $5,000, both in August 2018. Arraignment set for 1:30 p.m. July 10.

Driving Under the Influence — Josue L. Vasquez, 24, Grand Island, DUI-alcohol, first offense, $500 fine, six months probation, driver’s license revoked 60 days. Also guilty of possession of 1 oz. or less of marijuana, first offense, $300 fine.
