A reward of up to $1,000 will be paid after law enforcement agencies have determined the seriousness of the crime and the usefulness of the information.

The following felonies were reported:
— Alesia Potts reported the unauthorized use of her white 2006 Ford Fusion between May 24 and Thursday. She allowed a known male to drive the vehicle on May 24 and he has not returned the vehicle. The case is open.
— Maria Limon-Favela reported being the victim of identity theft. People at her house were notified of back taxes they did not incur. This unclaimed income was reportedly earned in Nebraska. The incident is under investigation.
— Upper Deck, 2110 W. Second St., reported the theft of money from the business between May 4 and Thursday.
— Zachary Utley, 33, was stopped Thursday morning because of a brake light defect in the vehicle he was driving at Cedar and West Charles. He admitted to drug paraphernalia being inside the vehicle, which was found and seized, police say. Later, he was determined to be in possession of a plastic bag containing a white crystalline substance, which was believed to be methamphetamine. Friday in Hall County Court, he was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession or use of of drug paraphernalia and improper or defective vehicle lighting. Preliminary hearing set for 1:30 p.m. July 30.

— Sirena J. Runyan, 35, homeless, attempt of a Class 2A felony, 24 months probation, 40 hours community service, ordered to pay restitution of $400.

— Tara L. Carr, 33, Grand Island, was charged with strangulation and committing child abuse intentionally with no injury, both on Thursday. Preliminary hearing set for 11:30 a.m. July 30.
— Richard Naslund, 29, Kearney, was charged with possession of 28 to 139 grams of methamphetamine, possession of an exceptionally hazardous drug with intent to distribute, first-offense resisting arrest, third-degree assault of an officer or health care professional, having no drug tax stamp and obstructing a peace officer, all on Thursday.
— Mandi M. Mason, 40, Aurora, was charged with committing theft by deception totaling more than $5,000 on April 1, 2018. Arraignment set for 1:30 p.m. June 12.
— Christopher T. St. John, 44, Hastings, was charged with possessing a controlled substance on Thursday. Preliminary hearing set for 1:30 p.m. July 30.
Driving Under the Influence — Marily Galvan, 20, Hastings, DUI-alcohol, first offense, $500 fine, six months probation, driver’s license revoked 60 days.
