The following felonies were reported:

— Odelvis Guzman De Bastista reported money missing Wednesday morning from her safe in her residence.

— Barbara Rodriguez reported that she ordered a new iPhone and iPad from Sprint. They were delivered to the wrong address and she still hasn’t received them. The crime is listed as theft.

Hall County Sheriff

Law enforcement arrested three people on warrants in three cases. There were 42 calls for service. For more information visit www.hallcountyne.gov and click on the sheriff link.

Hall County District Court

— Kaley A. Johnson, 21, Nebraska Correctional Center for Women in York, third-degree assault, 30 days in jail.

— Matthew A. Carpenter, 34, Kearney, first-offense criminal impersonation, 100 days in jail with credit for nine days served, 12 months post-release supervision.

— Steven J. Trotta, 40, Grand Island, attempt of a Class 4 felony, 105 days in jail with credit for 105 days served. Also guilty of theft by unlawful taking totaling $0 to $500, 105 days in jail.

Hall County Court

— Anthony Mellado, 20, Grand Island, theft by deception totaling $0 to $500, $100 fine, 12 months probation.

— Jennifer Grossmann, 31, Kalamazoo, Mich., was charged with possession of a controlled substance, first-offense criminal impersonation and possession or use of drug paraphernalia, all on Wednesday. Preliminary hearing set for 10 a.m. July 11.

Grimminger not an owner of gallery

Kay Grimminger is an artist whose work is displayed at Studio K in Grand Island.

Grimminger is not an owner of the gallery as reported in an article in Thursday’s Independent about the new exhibit that opens there Friday.

Ansley parade at 11 a.m. Saturday

The parade at Ansley’s “Mardi Gras on Muddy Creek” festival will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday. An incorrect time was listed in Thursday’s Independent.
