The act is sometimes refered to as “the choking game.”
Schenck said it was an intentional act turned into a tragic accident, and there was no evidence whatsoever of suicide.
Officials believe the incident occurred sometime Friday evening at a home owned by his father, Tom, near the Middle Loup River east of St. Paul. Dinsdale was alone at the time.
Friends found him at about 11:15 a.m. Saturday, and an autopsy was performed on Sunday.
Drugs and alcohol were not involved, Schenck said.
