An unknown driver caused thousands of dollars’ worth of damage to property owned by Grand Island City Utilities early Sunday morning.
The department reported that an unknown subject drove through the property at 700 Bischeld St. at 1:45 a.m. and damaged two gates and a fence, according to the Grand Island Police Department.
The estimated cost of repair is $5,000. Remnants of broken vehicle parts were located at the scene.
