During a domestic assault Friday, police say a Grand Island man pushed down his wife, who then stabbed a hole in his truck tire and pointed a knife at him in a threatening manner.

Arrested were Jeremiah Kresser, 21, and Angela Jean Kresser, 49. The incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. at 423 W. Fifth St.

According to the police media report, Jeremiah Kresser injured his wife’s left knee when he pushed her down. After she punctured a hole in his truck tire, she then turned and pointed the knife at him, causing him to feel threatened, police say.

He was arrested for third-degree domestic assault. She was arrested for third-degree domestic assault (threatening) with a prior offense and criminal mischief.
