REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR �SHOP VENTILATION SYSTEM� Sealed Proposals will be received at the office of the Hall County Clerk, 121 S. Pine Street, Grand Island, Nebraska 68801 until 5:00 p.m., (CDT), Friday, October 11, 2019, for furnishing and installing a SHOP VENTILATION SYSTEM at the Hall County Highway Department located at 2900 West 2nd Street. Proposals received after specified time will be returned unopened to sender. Proposals will be publicly opened and read at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 in the Hall County Board of Supervisors Room located in the Hall County Administration Building at 121 S. Pine Street in Grand Island, Nebraska. Envelopes containing the proposals shall be sealed and marked as follows: County Board Chairperson and County Board C/o Marla Conley, Hall County Clerk Proposal For: �SHOP VENTILATION SYSTEM� Proposals will be accepted until 5:00 P.M. (CDT), Friday, October 11, 2019. Proposals to Be Opened: Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 9:45 a.m. (CDT) Hall County Administration Building 121 South Pine Street Grand Island, Nebraska Proposals shall be submitted on the form provided. The ventilation system is to be designed to provide ventilation for the shop area only. The system shall consist of an exhaust fan with weather hood, motorized damper, thermostatically and manually controlled, wiring, electrical, etc. to control temperature in the shop and provide for approximately 4 air changes per hour for an area of approximately 52,000 cubic feet. The ventilation system shall be installed by the contractor and include the standard manufacturer�s warranty. The contractor shall be required to provide insurance. Proposers are required to view the shop at the Hall County Highway Department, 2900 W. 2nd Street, Grand Island, Nebraska before submitting a Proposal. A copy of the building plans for the original construction will be given to all proposers. No proposal may be withdrawn within a period of forty-five (45) days after the date fixed for Proposal opening. Hall County reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, or parts of thereof and award contracts as may be deemed to the best interest of the County. The successful proposer will be required to furnish evidence of insurance and to furnish a performance and payment bond in the sum of the full amount of the contract.
