NOTICE TO BIDDERS FOR �POWERED GATE� Sealed Bids will be received at the office of the Hall County Clerk, 121 S. Pine Street, Grand Island, Nebraska 68801 until 5:00 p.m., (CDT), Friday, October 11, 2019, for a Powered Gate at the Hall County Highway Department located at 2900 West 2nd Street. Bids received after specified time will be returned unopened to sender. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 in the Hall County Board of Supervisors Room located in the Hall County Administration Building at 121 S. Pine Street in Grand Island, Nebraska. Envelopes containing the Bids shall be sealed and marked as follows: County Board Chairperson and County Board C/o Marla Conley, Hall County Clerk Bid For: �POWERED GATE� Bids will be accepted until 5:00 P.M. (CDT), Friday, October 11, 2019. Bids to Be Opened: Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. (CDT) Hall County Administration Building 121 South Pine Street Grand Island, Nebraska Bids shall be submitted on the form provided. The POWERED GATE will replace the existing swing open chain link gates at the Hall County Highway Department located at 2900 West 2nd Street. The contractor shall remove the two (2) existing approximately 29� wide gates, replace them with two (2) each 30� wide cantilevered chain link powered gates. The new gates shall include photo eyes for safety requirements of UL325, elevated post mounts, new support posts for each cantilevered gate, cold weather package, and all incidentals necessary to complete the installation. In addition, the bidder shall provide bid prices for items of work such as saw cutting and installing a safety loop, code keypads, wireless key pads, and vehicle remote transmitters. The county will get electrical service to the gate. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of forty-five (45) days after the date fixed for bid opening. Hall County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts of thereof and award bids as may be deemed to the best interest of the County.
