Pizza on a Stick
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
1 cup sliced pepperoni
1 cup sliced Italian sausage
1⁄2 French bread loaf, toasted and cubed
1⁄2 green pepper, cut into bite-sized pieces
1⁄2 cup large fresh mushrooms, quartered
1⁄2 cup zucchini slices
1⁄4 cup Italian dressing
1⁄4 cup shredded mozzarella
1 cup spaghetti sauce, warmed
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Slice bread into 1 inch pieces. Cut each slice further into four cubes.
Place bread in toaster oven on broil until lightly toasted.
Thread meat, pre-toasted bread and vegetables onto skewers.
Arrange loaded skewers in a single layer on a baking sheet and brush with Italian dressing.
Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
Serve with warm spaghetti sauce for dipping.
