LINCOLN — Two junior college prospects Nebraska's football team had hoped to add to its 2013 recruiting class chose other schools Wednesday, thinning NU's remaining targets at positions of need.

Los Angeles Pierce College tight end Beau Sandland picked Miami (Fla.) over the Huskers. NU had targeted Sandland as its top tight end prospect last spring, as current Nebraska seniors Kyler Reed and Ben Cotton are graduating.
