Police/Sheriff

Anyone with information about any crime in the state may call the Grand Island-Hall County Crime Stoppers, 381-8822. Crime Stoppers guarantees that callers will remain anonymous.

 If you see a crime happening, call the Grand Island-Hall County Emergency Center --  911.

Grand Island Police

The following felonies were reported: 

 Roses For You, 937 S. Locust, reported a burglary there.

 Novedades La Solomera, 108 W. Fourth St., reported a second-degree forgery there.

Hall County Sheriff

Law enforcement arrested three people on warrants in three cases. No felonies were reported.

Hall County Jail

  The Hall County Jail has 142 inmates, booked in eight people and released 14 people.

Hall County District Court

 Sara A. Kolar, also known as Sarah A. Kolar and Sarah Johnson, 25, 239 N. Darr Ave., pleaded not guilty to operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol causing serious bodily injury, failure to stop following a personal injury accident and operating a vehicle to avoid arrest for a Dec. 3, 2007, incident. Her pretrial is scheduled for June 11.

 Angela M. Dominguez, 30, 311 E. Third St. No. 10, pleaded not guilty to first-degree assault for a Dec. 26, 2004, incident involving Autumn R. Martinez. Her trial is scheduled for August.

 Travis R. Hansen, 19, 719 N. Broadwell Ave., pleaded no contest to attempted robbery for a March 21 incident. He also pleaded guilty to burglary for an April 3 incident. His sentencing is scheduled for June 19.


 Randall H. Harders, 51, Wood River, pleaded not guilty to sexual assault on a child for an incident that occurred between Aug. 1, 2004, and Feb. 1, 2007. His pretrial is scheduled for June 11.

 Stacey W. Nielsen, 45, 310 N. Ruby Ave., pleaded not guilty to first-degree sexual assault for a Dec. 15, 2007, incident. Nielsen's trial is scheduled for August.
