ARRANTS -- To Benjamin and Melanie (Fay) Arrants of Grand Island, a daughter born July 4 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings.

MARTIN -- To Jay and Nanci (Ruggles) Martin of Grand Island, a son born June 27 at St. Francis Medical Center. 

ROJEWSKI -- To Jared and Jessica (Tucker) Rojewski of Grand Island, a son born July 1 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings.

BARTEK -- To Todd and Melissa (Paisley) Bartek of Aurora, a daughter born July 2 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings. Grandparents are Clint and Bonnie Paisley of Aurora and David and Becky Bartek of York.

ROSE -- To Dustyn and Marianne (Salak) Rose of Wakiawa, Hawaii, a daughter born on July 8 at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Grandparents include Michael and Merna Salak of Queen Creek, Ariz. Great-grandparents include Orville and Esther Grant of Friend, Vivian Salak of Grand Island and the late Fred Salak.

MILLER -- To Ken and Kimberly (Sindelar) Miller of Omaha, a daughter born on June 26 at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha. Grandparents include Francis and Rose Ann Sindelar of Grand Island and James and LuAnne Miller of Omaha.

JANULEWICZ -- To Doug and Vickie (Wooden) Janulewicz of Bellevue, a son born July 1 at Omaha Methodist Hospital. Grandparents are Dave and Shirley Wooden of Cairo and Paul and Norma Janulewicz of Boelues. Great-grandparents include Louise Wooden of Loup City, LeRoy Sutton of Oshkosh, Helen Spotanski of Boelus and Evelyn Janulewicz of Loup City.

FRITSON -- To Matthew and Jennifer (Wood) Fritson of Axtell, a son born July 3 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings. Grandparents are Elizabeth Wood of Grand Island, Judy and Richard Turner of Holdrege and Karen Anderson of Aurora.

MELVILLE -- To Andrew amd Amy (Henn) Melville of Omaha, a son born July 1 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Grandparents are Gerry and Mary K. Henn of Grand Island and Bill and Wanda Melville of Broken Bow.



Police/Sheriff



Anyone with information about any crime in the state may call the Grand Island-Hall County Crime Stoppers, 381-8822. Crime Stoppers guarantees that callers will remain anony-mous.

A reward of up to $1,000 will be paid after law enforcement agencies have determined the seriousness of the crime and the usefulness of the informa-tion.

Inmate custody status can be obtained by calling the VINE hotline at (877) NE 4 VINE. Information is available 24 hours a day.



Grand Island Police

The following felonies were reported:

 Beth Risor, Norfolk, reported the unauthorized use of a financial transaction device.

 Catherine Snyder, 203 Waldo Ave., reported the theft of cash and a computer from the residence.

 A 14-year-old boy from Fremont reported a wallet stolen from the pool area at 3021 S. Locust St., with the loss of a large amount of cash.

 An 18-year-old reported a first-degree sexual assault that took place on July 5 in Grand Island.



Hall County Sheriff

Law enforcement arrested nine people on warrants in 11 cases. No felonies were reported.



Hall County Jail

The Hall County Jail has 126 inmates, booked in 14 people and released 14 people.



Correction



The director of the Grand Island Community Redevelopment Authority is Chad Nabity. Nabity's title was incorrect in a Tuesday story.
