MASON -- To Jeremy Mason and Sade Troester of Hastings, a daughter born June 13 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings. Grandparents are Mary Thuernagle of Grand Island and Patty and Tim Lange of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

TANNER -- To Rick and Beth (George) Tanner of North Platte, a daughter born June 6 in North Platte. Grandparents are Ron and Carol George and Linda Fegter, all of Grand Island, and Ed and Teresa Tanner of Kansas City, Kan.

The following felonies were reported:
Patricia Smolinski, 614 S. Elm St., reported a vehicle theft there.
Yolanda Covarrubias, 413 E. Bismark Road, reported criminal mischief to a vehicle at 1600 S. Eddy St.
Mike Johnsen reported a theft from a vehicle at 2405 S. North Road.
Michelle Hartford, 921 N. Walnut St., reported a robbery there.
Hall County Sheriff
Law enforcement arrested five people on warrants in eight cases. No felonies were reported.

The Hall County Jail has 114 inmates, booked in six people and released 10 people.

Hall County District Court
Quentin J. Taylor, 28, 320 E. Nebraska Ave., pleaded not guilty to theft of services and theft by unlawful taking for a March 22 incident. In a separate case, he also pleaded not guilty to the same charges for a Feb. 20, 2007, incident.
Joshua A. Matthiesen, 26, 2954 Hwy. 34, pleaded not guilty to felony failure to stop following a personal injury accident, along with operation of a motor vehicle to avoid arrest, willful reckless driving, obstructing a police officer and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors, for a March 20 incident.
Heidi Strampher, 22, Spalding, had a conviction of a first class misdemeanor of theft by deception set aside.
Hall County Court
William D. Harvey, 16, St. Libory, was charged with theft by unlawful taking for a May 27 incident involving property of Fredrick Peters.
Edward E. Beam, 18, 3018 W. 13th St., was charged with burglary for an April 29 incident involving the Alibi Lounge.
Fernando B. Cruz, 27, homeless, was charged with possession of methamphetamine for a June 24 incident.
Driving under the influence
Aaron I. Ironhorse, 17, 911 E. 12th St., Apt. 2, first offense, $400, seven days jail, six months no driving.
