SANDOVAL -- To Edgar and Navil (Valdez) Sandoval of Alda, a son born June 19 at St. Francis Medical Center.

State births
NIELSEN -- To Dan and Carrie (Sindelar) Nielsen of Omaha, a daughter born June 13 at Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha. Grandparents are Francis and Rose Ann Sindelar of Grand Island and Roger and Shirley Nielsen of Central City. Great-grandparents are Walt and Jean Nielsen of Polk.

ZUERLEIN -- To Joel and Staci (Trujillo) Zuerlein of Lincoln, a son born June 17 at BryanLGH Medical Center in Lincoln. Grandparents are Roy and Marsha Trujillo of Grand Island and George and Joyce Zuerlein of Lincoln. Great-grandparents are Pat Cook of Grand Island and Emma Lintner of Norfolk.

The following felonies were reported: 

Kristina Guerrero, Lincoln, reported a theft at 417 Fifth St. A vehicle was stolen and later recovered. A person was arrested.

Teresa Franco, 306 E. 20th St., reported criminal mischief there.

Darrold Dannehl, 1019 W. John St., reported a theft there. A lawn mower was stolen from a shed.
