Grand Island Police

The following felonies were reported: 

-- Robert Sorensen, 312 W. 17th St., reported a burglary at 202 N. Custer Ave. A concession stand was burglarized.

-- Bartz Floral, 2224 S. Locust St., reported a burglary there.



Hall County Sheriff

Law enforcement arrested four people on warrants in four cases. No felonies were reported.

  The Hall County Jail has 147 inmates, booked in 14 people and released eight people.

Hall County District Court

-- Justin W. Stevens, 26, McCook, pleaded no contest to distribution of methamphetamine for an April 20, 2007, incident. His sentencing is scheduled for June 26.

-- James A. Thomas, 37, 714 W. Second St. No. 12, was sentenced to 12 to 13 months in prison for tampering with physical evidence for a Feb. 19, 2007, incident. A charge of possession of methamphetamine was dismissed for the same incident.

-- Jesse LeBlount, 35, 321 W. Fonner Park Road No. 2, was sentenced to three to four years in prison for sexual assault on a child for a March 19, 2007, incident.



Hall County Court

-- James M. Rivera, 34, 1508 N. Broadwell Ave., was charged with failure to appear for an April 17 incident.

-- Heather A. Arnett, 34, 2604 Chanticleer St. Apt. E, was charged with aiding and abetting criminal impersonation for an Oct. 19, 2005, incident.

-- Frank R. Rivera Sr., 89, 621 N. Pine St., had a charge of sexual assault on a child dismissed for a Jan. 27 incident.

Dion R. Watt, 22, 520 E. 13th St., $500, seven days in jail, one year no driving; Timmy J. Spilinek, 28, 116 E. Eighth St., $400, six months probation, 60 days no driving; Randy M. Metcalf, 54, Wood River, $400, seven days in jail, one year no driving; Gabino Rosales, 26, 311 S. Lincoln Apt. A7, $400, one year probation, 60 days no driving.
