STUDLEY -- To Blake and Cindy (Kerkman) Studley of Grand Island, a son born July 18 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings. Grandparents are Rick and Linda Studley of Grand Island, Evelyn Johnson of Farwell and Jim and Betty Kerkman of Petersburg.

Brandi Billips, 1712 N. Eddy St., reported a theft at 1015 Hancock Ave. A vehicle was stolen.
Hall County Sheriff
Law enforcement arrested nine people on warrants in 10 cases. The following felony was reported:
Jeffrey Reis, 4145 Manchester, reported a theft at White Cloud and McGuire Roads. Tools were stolen.

Kelly A. Baier, 51, 216 Beachwood Drive, had charges of distribution of marijuana and two counts of first-degree sexual assault on a child dismissed for incidents that occurred between Aug. 30, 2001, and Dec. 1, 2004.

Chelsea E. Ziska, 20, Alda, was charged with failure to appear for a June 10 incident.
Lisia S. Pacheco, also known as Lisia Pecheco-Sanchez, 43, 324 W. Koenig St. Apt. 16, was charged with tampering with physical evidence and possession of an open alcohol container in a vehicle for a July 22 incident.
Eric B. Plummer, 23, 507 W. Second St. Apt. 219, was charged with escape, assault by menacing threat and disturbing the peace for a July 22 incident involving Sandra Sanchez.
Driving under the influence -- James Machar, 28, 2307 E. Highway 300 Apt. 16, $500, two days in jail, six months probation, one year no driving.
