GUNDELFINGER -- To Mr. and Mrs. Geoff and Kim (Zirfas) Gundelfinger of Wellington, Colo., twin daughters born Aug. 5 at Fort Collins, Colo. Grandparents include George Gundelfinger Sr. of Grand Island.

MEININGER -- To Sara Meininger of Grand Island, a daughter born July 31 at St. Francis Medical Center.

SIEMERS -- To Richard and Heather (Zlomke) Siemers of Grand Island, a son born July 28 at St. Francis Medical Center. Grandparents are John and Cindi Zlomke and Robert Siemers, all of Grand Island, and the late Betty Siemers.

VEACH -- To Marvin and Marci (Thompson) Veach of Cairo, a daughter born Aug. 2 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings.

Grand Island Police

The following felonies were reported: 

 Robert Soto Jr., 223 Cardinal Drive, reported a theft there. A vehicle was stolen.

 Daniel Schreiner, 910 N. Bogg Ave., Apt. 1111, reported a theft there. A vehicle was stolen.

 Edwin Starman, 911 E. 12th St., Apt. 3, reported a burglary there.

 Randall Blair, 1901 W. Louise St., reported a theft there. A barbecue grill was stolen from his backyard.

 High Quality Housing, 4020 W. Stolley Park Road, reported a burglary there. A flat-screen TV was stolen.

 Amy Schlund, 4242 W. Highway 30, reported a theft by exercising control, trespassing and false reporting there. A vehicle was stolen and later recovered. A woman was arrested.



Hall County Sheriff

Law enforcement arrested eight people on warrants in 10 cases. The following felony was reported:

 Daniel Lau, 2550 N. Gunbarrel, reported a theft there. A vehicle was stolen.

 Amie M. Villegas, also known as Amie Jackson, 33, 319 Cardinal Drive, was charged with theft by unlawful taking, trespassing and false reporting for an Aug. 7 incident involving a 1994 GMC Sierra belonging to Daniel Meyer.
