Central Eight Conference

GENOA -- Twin River won two matches to advance to the finals of the Central 8 Conference Tournament.

The Titans (13-7) defeated Osceola 15-25, 25-5, 25-21 and Fullerton 25-23, 25-18.

Alyssa Stankoski had 20 assists for Twin River to lead it to the win over Osceola.

Courtney Czapla added eight kills and six digs, while Valerie Vetick added seven kills and five digs.

Alex Hayes led a well-balanced Osceola attack with five kills, while Terra Micek, Jamie Branting and Brandi Johnson each added three. 

Czapla led the Titans with seven kills and five digs against Fullerton, as Stankoski once again had 20 assists and Vetick four kills and two blocks.

Osceola (6-10) downed Fullerton (5-14) 25-22, 25-16 as Michelle Wilgocki had nine service points, nine digs and 50 set assists for the Bulldogs.

Lindsay Peterson added 15 digs, while Terra Micek had seven kills and eight digs.

Chambers def. Burwell

CHAMBERS -- Class D-2 No. 4 Chambers (23-1) turned back Burwell 25-16, 25-12, 25-10.

Lydia Stutzman led the Longhorns (7-11) with seven kills and five digs. 

Lauren Garner, Ashley McMullen and Megan Cassidy each had three kills, while LaNae Maxson had 15 set assists and two digs.



Hampton triangular

HAMPTON -- Shelton won two matches in the Hampton triangular on Tuesday, topping Elba 25-17, 25-21 and defeating host Hampton 26-24, 25-6.

Kalli Brannagan led the Bulldogs (14-7)  against Elba (16-4) with nine service points including four aces.

Emily Steffensen added 11 blocks, and Taylor Glenn had eight digs.

Brannagan had 11 kills against Hampton (11-11), while Kelsey Rouse added four blocks and 12 service points.

Hampton was led by Sadie Shoup with six kills, seven service points and 10 digs.

Elba downed Hampton 13-25, 25-14, 28-26.

Shoup led the Hawks with 12 kills, while Caitlin Carlson had 13 service points and 15 digs.

Kaylee Klute added 18 assists and eight points, and Kylie Wochner tallied 12 digs.



Exeter-Milligan triangular

MILLIGAN -- High Plains dropped two matches at the Exeter-Milligan triangular.

The Storm (5-14) was defeated by Class D-2 No. 3 Clay Center 25-17, 25-14. MacKenzie Stevens led the Storm with three kills and one block.

Nealey Hoffman added five digs, two kills and one block, while Hannah Lott added two kills and three assists.

Exeter-Milligan (14-7) defeated High Plains 25-12, 25-12.

Nealey Hoffman led the Storm with six kills, six digs and three blocks.

Anna Swanson added five digs and one kill.

Exeter-Milligan handed Clay Center (19-1) its first loss 25-13, 24-26, 25-21.
