NORFOLK -- Class A No. 2 Grand Island Senior High (22-1) won two matches at the Norfolk triangular, downing host Norfolk 25-23, 25-15 and Millard West 25-19, 25-16.
Carissa Kinne led the Islanders net attack against Norfolk (9-16) with nine kills, while Ariel Krolikowski added seven. Krolikowski led the Islanders in digs with nine, while Brenna Rasmussen followed closely with eight. Ali Higgins dished out 25 set assists, while Frankie Miller chipped in with three service aces and one ace block.
Krolikowski paced the Islanders against Millard West (10-11) with 12 kills, nine digs, two ace serves and one ace block. Kinne added 11 digs and five kills, while Higgins tallied 21 set assists and one ace block.
