After suffering a stroke and loosing mobility on his right side, Wayne Veeder of Litchfield is nearing the end of a two-month stay at St. Francis Medical Center. Veeder, who is performing a dynamic sitting balance activity with occupational therapist Teresa Leiting (left) and physical therapist Melissa Randone (right), is the first patient to utilize the medical center’s newly finished sixth-floor rehabilitation area that focuses on improving a patient’s mobility and independence.
