GRAND ISLAND —
Sundance is closing and we'll all miss it. Perhaps the problem is that we went there to look and not as much to buy. Now I suggest it could be used as a zoo. Not like the Henry Doorly Zoo, but many even smaller cities (like Scottsbluff) Have a zoo.
There are already pens for small animals. I believe it could be a success. There was a zoo in Grand island at one time and I'm sorry it closed. A modest fee and donations would help to keep it alive. This wouldn't be a zoo for large animals like elephants, tigers, etc., just the same small animals can be very entertaining.
