RAVENNA — Dorothy “Arlene” Lueders, 79, of Ravenna died Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at the Nebraska Heart Hospital in Lincoln.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ravenna. The Rev. Micah Gaunt will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery at Ravenna.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
Rasmussen Funeral Home in Ravenna is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lueders was born Nov. 12, 1933, in South Dakota to Tobias and Ethelyn (Camblin) Reinertson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin, and a son, Leon.
Survivors of the immediate family include two daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Mark Nance of Grand Island and Dorothy and Albert Klemke of Litchfield; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother and sister-in-law, Reinert and Carolyn Reinertson of Kearney.
Arlene grew up in Hazard. She attended Kearney State Teachers College.
She married Edwin Lueders on Feb. 21, 1954, in Hazard. The couple lived in Hazard and later moved to Grand Island, where they resided for many years. She was employed by McDermott & Miller, CPA, in Grand Island for more than 20 years. They moved to Ravenna in 2003. Edwin passed away in 2010.
She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Ravenna and Kearney Quilt Guilds. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting. She also enjoyed camping.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
