Alice B. Dittman, 82, of Grand Island died Thursday, June 9, 2011, at Wedgewood Care Center.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Sample officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
Miss Dittman was born April 8, 1929, in Grand Island to Manfred Carl and Sophie Augusta (Beyersdorf) Dittman.
Survivors of the immediate family include three brothers and two sisters-in-law, John and Joyce Dittman of Deer River, Minn., Carl Dittman of Grand Island, and Edward and Karen Dittman of Round Rock, Texas; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Liz and Don Enck and Betty Ann and Herbie Jensen, all of Grand Island.
Other survivors include nephews Don and Dennis Enck of Grand Island, Dale Jensen of Solane Beach, Calif., and Ray Lee Colman of Grand Island, and a niece, Debbie Petersen of Grand Island.
Alice grew up and attended school in Grand Island.
She worked for the Butter Krust Bakery for 26 years. She also worked for the B&E Cafe and Sears.
She enjoyed playing bingo, going for rides in the car, eating out and having her nails done by her great niece. Alice also enjoyed watching the Food Network, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother-in-law, Emma and Clyde Colman; and a nephew Herbie Jensen, Jr.
