Nebraska Christian Schools establishes foundation board

The founding board for the Nebraska Christian Schools Foundation has been established.

The foundation has been formed to build a strong financial base for Nebraska Christian Schools and provide donors with another avenue for giving, the foundation said in a press release.

The board has adopted the motto, "Leave a legacy that builds lives for eternity."

Serving on the board:

 David Edgren of Columbia, S.C., former Nebraska Christian superintendent and currently serving as an international recruiter.

 Lanny Faeh of Central City, Nebraska Christian alumnus, board member and parent.

 Mike Toukan of Central City, parent of a Nebraska Christian student.

 Belinda Strobel of Marquette, Nebraska Christian alumna and parent.

 Jody Heuermann of Central City, foundation executive director and Nebraska Christian parent.
