"Grain check" goes to Hope Harbor

Hope Harbor administrators were stunned last week when a farmer anonymously donated his proceeds from selling grain -- $13,625.

"We have no idea who he is," Executive Director Melissa DeLaet said of the man who stopped by Hope Harbor on April 26 with a "grain check" that he had Aurora Co-op write out directly to the transitional living shelter. "He wanted to be completely anonymous."
