Jensen receives community service award

Boelus American Legion Post 201 Commander Larry Seifert presented the 2008 community service award to Russ Jensen for his dedication and contribution to the Dannebrog, Cairo, Boelus (DCB) baseball organization.
Seifert said Jensen spends many hours preparing the baseball diamond and organizing the American Legion District 6 Senior tournament. The tournament was a great success, he said.
Jensen said “his love for baseball makes the effort worthwhile.”
