Hall County Extension sponsoring Kids College

Kids College, an education program for children ages 5 and up, sponsored by Hall County Extension, will be starting Thursday at College Park.

Classes in May include:

  Intro to Basic Fishing, 9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m. May 22 to 29. Ten sessions. Ages 6 and up, $12 fee.

  Boredom Busting Games, 1 to 4 p.m. May 28. Learn a collection of game ideas. Ages 9 and up, $8.

  Basic Embroidery Stitching, 1 to 3 p.m. May 29. Make basic embroidery stitches on fabric with a hoop. Ages 10 and up, $16 fee.

  Polymer Clay 101, 1 to 3 p.m. May 29. Create your own pen. Ages 9 and up, $20.

  Homemade Paper, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Make homemade paper by recycling paper. Ages 8 and up, $20.

  String Art, 1 to 3:30 p.m. May 30. String art on paper. Ages 10 and up, $10.
