Alexandra Goltz of Aurora was named Miss Harvest of Harmony at the 63rd annual pageant Friday in Grand Island.
Goltz beat out 38 other high school girls for the honor. Brea Smith of Nebraska City High School was first runner-up, and Miranda Stanczyk of Fullerton High School was second runner-up.
Other finalists included Katie Swett of Wheeler Central, Ashley Consbruck of Hastings St. Cecilia, Megan Kelly of Papillion-La Vista South, Alexandra Stebbing of Centura, Hannah Bolton of Grand Island Central Catholic, Elizabeth Patton of Palmer and Rebecca Rickertsen of Lexington.
The daughter of Greg and Shannon Goltz of Aurora, Alexandra Goltz is a senior at Aurora High School where she is active in cheerleading, band and a mentoring program for freshmen.
She is also a member of the National Honor Society, Future Problem Solving and the Junior Leadership Academy.
She volunteers with Nebraska Equine Assistant Therapy and works with children in special education, and she is an active member of St. Mary'
