Twenty-six people petitioned the Hall County board Tuesday to have these two pit bulls removed from their home at 4307 W. Stolley Park Road. Chewy, an adult male (left,) and Corona, an 8-month-old female, bit a woman walking by their home on July 26. Neither bite broke the skin so the dogs were not confiscated. Sheriff Jerry Watson said he has the statutory authority to remove vicious dogs, but doesn’t feel these dogs meet the definition. He does want them placed in special kennels and walked with muzzles.
