Roush named Nebraska regional faculty member

Jenny Roush, wellness education coordinator at St. Francis Medical Center, was named as a Nebraska regional faculty member for the American Heart Association.

Regional faculty comprise the quality assurance and educational section of the Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) program. Members serve as expert resources on ECC issues and protocols to training centers, training center faculty, instructors and ECC staff.

Roush was appointed by the Nebraska ECC Regional Committee because of her "exemplary service as an American Heart Association (AHA) instructor."

As a regional faculty member, one of Roush's responsibilities is to act as a coach and mentor to training centers. To ensure that each training center has a regional faculty for each discipline, the regional committee will be assigning Roush to a training center.

Regional faculty members are appointed for two-year terms. Roush will serve from July 1, 2008, to June 30, 2010.
