Dolan extends IMCA Modified points lead
AUTO RACING: MID-NEBRASKA SPEEDWAY

DONIPHAN — Season points leader Chad Dolan added to his lead Saturday night, driving to a victory in the IMCA Modified feature race at Mid-Nebraska Speedway.
Shane Thome appeared to be on a mission as the IMCA Modified feature got underway. Thome continued his lead until lap 17 as Dolan moved to the lead and continued for the win as Brent Hoefelman was second, Thome finished third and Chris Alcorn was fourth.
The Awards Plus Jr. Hornet feature saw Jordan Lawhorne lead the first six laps, but then Ben Hobbs took the lead and the win. Lawhorne finished in second with Tony Rost third and Tyler Auten fourth.
Matthew Ford led the first six laps in the Happy Hornet feature. Darick Lamberson took the lead on lap seven and continued for the win. Rough driving by three different drivers resulted in them being disqualified for the night.
IMCA Hobby Stock driver Terry Eatherton grabbed the lead as their A-feature began. Troy Paxton moved up to the lead on lap four and continued for the win. Kyle Bond finished second as Dillon Thompson was third and Eatherton dropped to fourth.
Randall Ford led the first two laps of the Grand National A-feature. Ty Leonard took the lead on lap three but Alex Humphrey wanted a piece of the action and took control of the race on lap five. Les Siebert took control on lap ten and continued for the win. Marc Peters challenged in second with Justin Gregg third and Alex Humphrey was fourth.
