United in marriage were Sherah Slocum and Dennis Eastman of Grand Island on March 15, 2008, at the Grand Island Women's Club in Grand Island. Officiating was Pastor Steve Warriner.
Mike Slocum of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Cici and David Brundage of Grand Island are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Neva Holstien and the late Erman Eastman.
Honor attendant for the bride was Amanda Jurgens of Grand Island and personal attendant Judy Griffin.
Bestman was Alex Eastman of Lincoln. Ushering the guests were Shem Slocum and Jonathon Slocum.
Candlelighters were Jessica and Chelsea Slocum. Flowergirls were Aszia, Sierah and Keira Dickinson and ringbearer was Elijah Dickinson.
Vocalist was Jenny Roy. Shannon Pickett and Rachel Church were guest book attendants.
Special guests were the bride's grandmother, Jenny Richardson, the groom's grandparents, Otto and Irene Price, and Angie Rose, the couple's inspiration.

Following a wedding trip to Kearney, the couple reside in Grand Island.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Grand Island Senior High and is attending the Institute of Children's Literature. She is employed by Casey's as an assistance manager.
The groom attended Lincoln Tech in Des Moines, Iowa. He works in the maintenance department for Gibbon Pack.
