Weinrich-Carder

Wedding vows were exchanged April 12, 2008, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wood River between Lacy Weinrich of Grand Island and Kyle Carder of Albion. Father James Janovec performed the ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Alan and Judy Weinrich of Grand Island. Jim and Laura Carder of St. Edward are parents of the groom.

Sheena Lindell of Cairo was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Molly Wortman, Nicole Kaelin, Kacey Stueck, Kelly Leonhardt, Sadie Gorgen and Katie Carder.

Best man was Chris Carder of Omaha. Nick Reinhart, Matt Fisher, A.J. Meier, Brett Sonday, Andrew Ross and Mark Weinrich were groomsmen. Ushering guests were Gary and Philip Weinrich and Kevin Carder.

Kristin and Keri Carder were candlelighters. Flower girl was Madison Weinrich and ringbearer was Trent Borer. Personal attendants were Joyce Cornelius, Crystal Mittan and Heather Weinrich.

Music was provided by Stephanie Beckwith, pianist, and Jessica Swerczek, vocalist. Angie and Andrea Carder were guest book attendants.

Special guests were Eugene and Clarice Weinrich and Arnold Sperling, grandparents of the bride, and Gale and Liz Carder and JoAnn Kunzman, grandparents of the groom.

A reception at Babel's Barn in Wood River followed the ceremony. After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple live in Lincoln.

The bride graduated from Grand Island Northwest High in 2001. She received an associate degree in vascular technology from BryanLGH College of Health Sciences in May 2006. She is a registered vascular technologist for the Nebraska Heart Institute.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Albion High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree in business administration in May 2004 from Doane College at Crete. He is an insurance agent for All American Insurance.
