GRAND ISLAND —

Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grand Island was the setting Jan. 5, 2008, when Russtanna Faimon of Grand Island and Kent Lutt of Columbus were united in marriage. Father Frank Curran performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of David and Barbara Faimon of Grand Island. Korlin and Michelle Lutt of Columbus are parents of the groom.

Taffnee Faimon of Omaha and Ashley Mostek of Houston were maids of honor. Bridesmaid was Davina Faimon and bridesmatron was Cassandré Faimon-Haygood. Personal attendants were Danni Kreher, Rutheah Rodehorst and Laura Thompson.

Best man was Matthew Lutt of Tajunga, Calif. Jonathan Zach, Michael Klug and Alex Hansen were groomsmen. Ushering guests were Timothy Haygood, Jay Petersen, Bobby Rezac and Jerry Mueller.

Matyll and Tavender Jones were candlelighters. Readers were Marian Petersen and Pammy Rezac.

Flower girl was Emma Jahn and ringbearer was Ben Hansen. Michaela Hansen and Treanna Jones attended the guest book.

Providing music were pianist Barb Mueller, cellist Anna Speed, violinist Timothy Haygood and vocalists, Cassandré Faimon-Haygood and Joe Knispel.

Special guest was grandparent Esther Lee.

A reception at the Riverside Country Club followed the ceremony. After a wedding trip to Chicago, the couple live in Kearney.

The bride graduated in 2003 from Grand Island Senior High. She received a bachelor of arts in musical theatre from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in May 2007. She is an independent beauty consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Lakeview High at Columbus. He received a bachelor of science in journalism/mass media in May 2006 from UNK. He is an online editor for the Kearney Hub newspaper.
