Mike and Irma McDonald of Grand Island are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Malinda, to Matt Kroll, son of John and Mary Kroll of Omaha.
The couple has planned an Oct. 11, 2008, wedding at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Grand Island.
Malinda is a graduate of Grand Island Senior High and the University of Nebraska at Omaha where she is working on her master's degree in counseling. She is an English teacher for Papillion-LaVista South. Matt graduated from Westside in Omaha and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is a residential coordinator for the Autism Center of Nebraska.
