Jennifer Ann Swanson and Kyle Ray Stapp, both of Lincoln, wish to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding on Aug. 16, 2008, at Eastridge Presbyterian Church in Lincoln.
Ken and Ann Swanson of Norman, Okla., are parents of the future bride. Parents of the prospective groom are Garry and Barbara Stapp of Ord.
Jennifer is a graduate of Pauls Valley High School in Pauls Valley, Okla. She attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she majored in English. She is employed as a senior annuitization specialist for Perot Systems.
Kyle is a graduate of Ord High School. He attended Southeast Community College at Lincoln and is employed by Ayars and Ayars Construction as a concrete finisher.
