GRAND ISLAND —
Planning to be joined in matrimony Sept. 20, 2008, at Grace Chapel in Lincoln are Megan Christine King and Cole Allan Pomeroy, both of Lincoln.
The future bride is the daughter of Peggy King of Lincoln. Curt and Beth Pomeroy of Grand Island are parents of the prospective groom.
Miss King, a 2002 Lincoln Christian graduate, is attending Southeast Community College at Lincoln enrolled in the nursing program. She works for the St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center.
Pomeroy is a 2001 graduate of Grand Island Northwest High. He received a bachelor of science in secondary social sciences education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is program director for Willard Community Center while continuing his education.
