Joan (Pedersen) Christensen, 80

The family of Joan (Pedersen) Christensen will be hosting an open house in celebration of her 80th birthday. The event is planned from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at the Community Center in Wolbach.

Her family includes her husband, Marvin Christensen; and children, Marliss and Lewis Barth of Dannebrog, Terry and Barb Christensen of North Loup, Randy Christensen of Wolbach, Cheryl and Randy Kosmicki of Grand Island and Valerie and Gene Killinger of St. Paul. She also has 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
