GRAND ISLAND —
An open house will be hosted by the family of Adele Faaborg in honor of her 90th birthday. The event is planned from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at the First National Bank and Trust community room in Fullerton.
Her family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Loren and Vicki Faaborg of Sun City West, Ariz., and daughter and son-in-law, Gail Faaborg-Rogers and Dr. John C. Rogers of West Allis, Wis. She has five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, five stepgrandchildren and 12 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Adele was born Oct. 8, 1918, in Platte County.
