GRAND ISLAND —
An open house will be hosted by the family of Andrew J. Gudgel in honor of his 90th birthday. The event is scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, at Grace Lutheran Church, 545 E. Memorial Drive, in Grand Island.
Andrew was born Nov. 5, 1918, in Cherry County.
His family includes Ruth Ellen and Alan Strauch, Andrew Dean and Lila Gudgel and Lynnette and David Gibson, all of Grand Island, Richard and Bonnie Gudgel, of Omaha, Wayne Gudgel of Lincoln and the late Lena Goddard. He has 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
