Exchanging wedding vows are Emily Atwell of Kearney and Brad Schepers of Gibbon on Aug. 16, 2008, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Minden.
Jerry and Susan Atwell of Grand Island are parents of the bride-to-be. Parents of her fiancé are Dan and Barb Schepers of Minden.
Miss Atwell is a 2003 graduate of Grand Island Senior High. She attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and received an associate degree in nursing from Central Community College-Grand Island. She works in health care for Mount Carmel Home.
Schepers graduated from Kearney High School in 1993. He attended the University of Kansas in 1998 where he studied sports management. He is a practitioner for Family Orthotics and Prosthetics.
