In celebration of Walter Valasek's 90th birthday, on open house will be hosted by his family from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at the Senior Center in Spalding.
Mr. Valasek was born May 27, 1918, on a farm near Wolbach.
His family includes children, Wally and Barb from Beatrice; Patty and Bob Esch, George and Diana, Sharon and Ray Bauer and Maggie Valasek, all of Spalding, the late Don Valasek; Sheila and Kris Luoma of Arcadia and Janet of Clay Center. He has 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
